Coming from the Blon BL-03s, and these sound amazing!
Sound clear as a cristal, highly recommend, you won't regret.
Also service is awesome, tracking my product was clear with enough alerts to keep well informed.
Amazing detail, great imaging, decent soundstage (don't care about soundstage for iem's) but the tuning is a little on the treble side coming across a little thin, it's also a bit on the cool side wich is not my exact favorite, it's a single planar driver so bass won't "rumble" as much as DD instead it it is softer and more clean, resolution is great especially with piano tracks, overall 4/5 for my preferences, at this price point it shure is above the competition and would consider it a great bargain.
The S12 is very clean and clear, just as a planar should.
The bass is nice and hits ok, but I suggest taping over the tiny holes near the ear stem, that will make the bass hit harder.
The treble is very nice to my ears, but some say it can be too sibilant. Maybe it’s my age, because I suspect if I was younger I’d say the same thing. But right now I really like the sparkly treble.
Overall though, while I still think it’s a very good planar IEM, there’s tons of competition right now as of 2022, and the S12 is kinda boring.
After watching and reading several reviews, I've pulled the trigger on these and definitely not disappointed with the audio, these sound like a very well tuned multi BA armature set, with a Planar touch to the audio. I used the Ikko OH10 for 2 months and the S12 are in my opinion just better in almost all areas in the tonality, resolution, less recessed and quiet mids, great similair bass and the great treble extension, also love how light the S12 are, the OH10 are quite heavy and during long listening sessions you would feel the iems weighing down on your ear. The S12 also fit a lot more deep and sturdy with my ears. Only thing I would give the OH10 is Soundstage and 3D imaging, with the OH10 you definitely feel a wider and more expansive sense of audiospace, and noticeably better imaging. This is why I use the OH10 during gaming sessions and the S12 for enjoying music for it's very fun signature.
Recommended no doubt!
